Cabins, Etc. cabins are offered in four basic sizes: sm. single, single one-bedroom, double, and triple. Various floor plans are
available or we will work with you to design the floor plan for the cabin of your dreams with your own style, specifications, and
tastes.
All Cabins, Etc. structures are constructed of 2x6 exterior framing and 2x4 interior walls. All walls, floors, and rafters are built
on 16" centers which makes a Cabins, Etc. cabin far more secure than a structure built on 24" centers. Exterior walls consist of
siding, house wrap, 7/16" OSB, 2x6 wall with R-19 insulation, and then the tongue & groove pine wall. All walls and ceilings are
insulated with R-19 insulation.
The flooring in each Cabins, Etc. cabin consists of 2x10 double-rim floor joists and is finished with tongue & groove oak flooring
over 3/4" tongue and grooved plywood decking.
Cabins, Etc. uses 2x8 rafters and each roof is finished with 29 gauge metal roofing or with a roofing material to fit the
customer's desires.
A licensed electrician installs standard wiring throughout and does it meet to the National Electrical Code.
Additionally, each Cabins, Etc. floor plan includes:
*bathroom with sink/vanity, toilet, bath/shower
*kitchen with stove, refrigerator, sink, and choices of cabinets and counter tops
*forced air furnace and water heater
*pine tongue & grooved interior
* hardwood flooring
*All of these items may be upgraded and/or changed to suit the customer's desires.
